Cursing Assassin
I have been experimenting with my Assassin and came up with this:
Cursing Assasin Build
A/N
Criticals: 12+1+3
Curses: 10
Daggers: 8+1
Shadow Arts: 3
Parasitic Bond
Faintheartedness
Black Lotus Strike
Twisted Fangs
Moebius Strike
Critical Defenses
Critical Eye
Return
Weapon: Shreader's Talons or similar
Strategy:
Parasiting Bond, Faintheartedness, Black Lotus Strike, Twisted Fangs, Critical Defenses Critical Eye, attack for a bit, Return.
First of all, I haven't tested this in PvP yet. I imagine this comment would rise a few brows: an assassin in PvE? However, in order to get to PvP, one must go through the story and beat up a few bosses here and there.
With Critical Eye and maxed-out criticals, Critical Defenses often lasts for several minutes, assuming there are foes around. The 2 curses + 2 attacks combo does decent DoT and uses both of the Shreader's Talons mods.
I have tried other skills in this build, like Critical Strike, Impale, Repeating Strike... So far this is the optimal variant.
Any suggestions on how I could improve this? Is this a stupid idea? Am I misunderstanding how the assassin works? Feel free, don't be shy!

I see that you do not have a rez signet. Since this is currently for PvE, I would suggest that you bring one, unless you believe you will be the first to die.
You have a weakness vs defenses (evade, block). This can be a problem for you.
I have not tried your build, so I can't say if there are any other concerns. It looks good otherwise.
In PvP though, I can see your hexes removed quickly. Beware of touch rangers, condition spammers and Sword wielding warriors (deadly riposte and riposte will hurt you a lot).

You can always make a pvp character
Also, no real point in Faintheartedness, take it out for res sig.

-3 health degen and %50 attack speed are far from being useless, in my opinion.

Yes, But will a Faintheartedness EVER outpower a res signet? NO!
